Russia – 2018. A 21-year-old Russian woman has been detained after confessing to dismembering the body of her boyfriend with whom she ‘practiced occultism and BDSM’. Anastasia Onegina is accused of killing her partner Dmitry Sinkevich, 24, a former policeman and Russian army soldier in the city of Oryol, west Russia. The student denies murder but said she found his dead body and was afraid she would be accused of murder, so decided to butcher his corpse.

One police theory is that he died during a sex game, according to local reports. Neighbors say the couple were fans of occultism and BDSM, and his social media included Satanist images. One report stated: ‘Neighbours said that they held weekly orgies, and complained about them making a lot of noise. ‘They were said to be into sadomasochism and similar practices.’ Mr. Sinkevich’s body cut up with a knife, was found by Onegina’s sister, who called the police.

Onegina threw some body parts in rubbish bins outside the apartment and stored others in her freezer or hung them on hooks around the apartment so it looked similar to a butcher’s shop. Onegina received a 10-year prison sentence for the murder and dismemberment of Sinkevich.
