A man was operating a jet ski when he was fatally struck by a boat. His shirt has the characteristic repetitive sharp force injuries of a propeller. The man’s back reveals the same characteristic repetitive sharp force injuries of a propeller. Boat propellers striking a person in the water create a series of linear and curvilinear cuts. The spacing and depth of the injuries depend on the speed of the boat, the pitch of the propeller, and the position of the body. This victim fell into the water while attempting to retrieve a downed skier, so the boat would have been moving relatively slowly as it circled the skier.
