USA. Police found the body of Dana Bailey on March 5, 1987, at her apartment. She sustained six or seven stab wounds to the heart and lungs. She was 22-years-old. Dana became the victim of an offender who had stalked her. He came into her apartment in the middle of the night, bound her, and placed a blindfold over her eyes. He killed her by stabbing her in her breasts and chest. He did not complete the sexual assault and instead “posed” his victim’s body and went back to his original voyeur location and then masturbated as he viewed his victim’s body combining his fantasy with reality. The assailant has not been found.
