Spain. The photos are of a victim of homicide with an axe. This is a case of homicide with “ensañamiento” which consists in intentionally increasing the victim’s suffering inhumanely, causing unnecessary suffering for the commission of the crime. The perpetrator tried to get rid of the victim’s body by throwing it down a well, hence the “washed” appearance of the wounds. As the axe was particularly sharp, some of the injuries shown in the photos do have “tails”. Right arm of the deceased has been severed.
