A 23-year-old police officer was killed while on duty. The victim was attacked by multiple assailants, and one of the attackers stabbed the victim, who had been knocked down and unconscious, in the temple with a two-edged dagger with such force that the instrument sunk into the skull up to the handle of the dagger wedging itself so tightly into the base of the skull that it couldn’t be removed during neuro-surgical care. The injury was produced by such a great force that it left an imprint of the handle on the skin.
