Woman commits suicide in a closet

Chicago, Illinois, US. In this case, the female victim’s body was discovered by a relative who went to check on her welfare. The victim had a history of depression and there had been previous suicide attempts. The victim had been dead for some time. Lividity had set in. The victim was pronounced dead by EMS. There was no reason to cut the victim’s body down before the arrival of detectives and it was left intact for the preliminary investigation at the scene.
